Introduction
Hello. I happen to like Marvel, and have quite a few video games for it, so I decided to make this review. Some of them I enjoyed quite a bit, some of them are quite horrible. I am sorry to say this game, to put it blunty, is not a good game. But I suppose I should tell you why.
Story
The story in this game is taken from the Marvel Comic book event "Civil War." Without giving away spoilers, I can say this game takes an amazing and riveting story, and warps and twists it into something unrecognizable. Civil War was very serious, but this game completely dumbs it down.
Graphics
Well, I suppose they could be worse......
But they aren't exactly great to begin with. Character models, while not blocky, are extremely blurred and fuzzy. Backgrounds are the exact opposite of vibrant, being dull and plain. And don't even get me started on how one of the bosses looks. DX

Sound
Like the graphics the sound is boring and plain. If you kill enemies they will all grunt the same generic grunt, and the same goes for your Characters when they jump around. They all sound the EXACT same. Music isn't bad, but it definitely isn't good, and on some levels you can barley hear it, with all the random explosions that seem to go on.
Gameplay
Well, the gameplay is okay I guess. It is fun to pummel your opponents with the many attacks at your hero's disposal, and even more fun to unleash their powerful fusion attacks. However, I have experienced slow down, and drops in frame rate occasionally.
Set up
The set up is one of the few redeeming qualities of this game. All the action is on the top screen, and you can use your current characters' various moves using the touch screen. You can also use the touch screen to swap characters. This is a nice efficient set up.

Content
Well this is this is all the content in the game, wait for it...............

A 10 hour story mode, that once beaten, can not be replayed. Oh, did I also mention there is wireless multiplayer? Makes a HUGE difference right? Oh! I also forgot to say there is only one save file! Yep, this game is simply brimming with content. That was sarcasm by the way.

Conclusion
Overall, Ultimate Alliance 2 for the DS is a game that had huge potential, but came no where near to achieving it. Graphics are boring and bland, sound is generic, and it will only give you about ten hours. I suppose it can be fun occasionally, and has a nice set up, but I must say even if you are a die hard Marvel fan: GET THIS GAME AT YOUR OWN RISK!!

hey, its not that bad. its certainly better than most of the stuff we fund for ds, lets b fair. i got it & beat. it was ok.
