Nintendo news said the exact opposite,sakurai doesn't want to add to much 3rd parties b/c that would go in a different direction he doesn't want,of course we can expect some more,but not a whole lot. Check out Nintendo news,that's an official site,everything there is exact.

I heard they wont add more 3rd party characters, but it was mentioned that many more new characters will be added. Also previous characters with similar movesets such as Ganandorf and Captain Falcon we be changed. Also you can customize characters
