pikarceus (2012-09-04 01:50:49)Right, PSN is an online network, but I'm talking about the specific store.
pikarceus (2012-09-04 02:15:06)Okay, Cave Story is $15 on Wiiware. FF7 will last me probably 20x longer than Cave Story, at 5$ cheaper.
Superman (2012-09-04 02:16:09)I've known all of these things, but I'm a cheapo so I have a 3DS

Ron1212 (2012-09-04 03:03:40)As for getting the Vita, I think I'll lay off and stick with Nintendo. However, Nintendo does always have that period of "no interesting games coming out" kinda thing, so in a couple of years I might consider buying the Vita.

mewtwo (2012-09-04 09:55:50)I'm already saving up for that Call of Duty PS Vita bundle for 249.99 bucks. You also forgot to mention how it can suspend software like the 3DS, you can do live tweeting through your game, download demos with unlimited tries, a skype app, and its version of streetpass, near, has more capabilities than the 3DS @Pika
pikarceus (2012-09-04 21:57:43)Have you guys tried holding up the 3DS next to the Vita? My 3DS felt like a toy.
@Rene-I'm no Sony fanboy, I listed the "big" games, not necessarily the ones I like. I personally think Madden is retarted.
@mewtwo-Don't get CoD Vita, no ragdoll physics, multiplayer is only 4v4 with a crappy 6 maps.
Ron1212 (2012-09-04 22:49:22)The only reason I hate Sony is because it flat out rips-off Nintendo.

pikarceus (2012-09-04 23:36:31)The Vita doesn't have many first person shooters yet. It has a ton of fighting games, and some nice Action/Adventure games.

Since my last Vita thread, I have seen much more of the PS Vita, and must admit it has a lot of advantages over the 3DS.
Advantages
For one thing, the screen is amazing. 5 inches, with about 40 more pixels per inch than the 3DS. It is also extremely crisp, and the colors are very rich. Amazing picture, the size also is great for watching videos or movies. My 3DS felt very inadequate next to that beastly screen.
The PSN blows the eShop out of the water. You can download movies (Road trips will now be amazing!*Five inch screen talking*) Tons of PSP games, PSOne classics, and more. The prices, if I may say, are also much better than those on Nintendo's online stores. Final Fantasy VII is 10$, vs OoT being $15 on Wiiware. Not to mention there are more demos as well. Retail downloads are 5$ less.
The controls are superior. Real analogs (Even if they're small) beat the Circle Pad. The trigger buttons don't seem as breakable. The back touch pad is a nice gimmick too. The system is also very light for its size.
The web browser crushes the 3DS browser. Pages load faster, they actually load the images, and the page actually fits the screen. And you can download videos from it.
One more thing: Vita has a YouTube app.
Disadvantages
You have to pay 10$ for an Online pass if you download certain retail games and wish to play online.
The Vita has inherited the PSP's not so great load times.
Overpriced memory cards.
Overall, I am now bent on getting a PS Vita, I would say it has less issues than the 3DS, and it has my kind of games. (Deep)
Let's take a look at all the "big" games
Uncharted Golden Abyss
BlazBlue: Continuum Shift Extend
Ultimate Marvel vs Capcom 3
Street Fighter X Tekken
Assassin's Creed: Liberation
Unit 13
Little Big Planet
Resistance: Burning Skys
Call of Duty: Black Ops Declassified
Playstation All Stars Battle Royal
Madden 13
Gravity Rush
Mortal Kombat
Metal Gear Solid: HD collection (3 games in one!)
Final Fantasy X HD
And some more I'm forgeting the exact name of (Killzone, Sly, Silent Hill)
Let's keep discussion civil.
