Who proved the earth round?
DeathKid (2012-10-03 15:21:01)No one thought Columbus proved it. He knew the earth was round already, and tried to sail around the Earth to find India.

That's a few people who thought Columbus proved it, are they not?

To those of you that are going to say "Columbus, dumbass", you're wrong.
Ferdinand Magellan did.
Columbus, though sailing around the world, only proved that there was land on the other side of the Atlantic. Magellan had sail around the world around five hundred years before.
If your history teacher told you "Columbus", tell him/her to look up 'Ferdinand Magellan'.
