Even if Nintendo did buy Rare back, it wouldn't matter, because they no longer have the talent anyway.

Nintendo has Retro Studios though, so while losing Rare was pretty tragic, at least we have Retro's awesome talent.

Donkey Kong Country Returns was basically Retro filling Rare's shoes.
