Introduction
We all know there are many secrets to Cavestory, most changing aspects of the game. For example, take the Mimiga Mask for example, bring that with you during the Final Cave, it's possible to live without the booster. If you beat the undead core with the Mimiga Mask on some text is changed along with some of the pictures in the credits! Misery will say she is bored and start the battle instead of anything serious. That may not be scary but either way, you can agree, even the nicest looking games have something scary in them! Today I'm scanning Cavestory for some depressing moments, wish us luck? Maybe not...

Quote was about to drown so Curly heroically gave you her air tank saving your life, leaving her to rot instead of you. Having no choice but to run away, killing your partner from the war. Heartless person, although if you have the rope saving Curly is possible. I put this first because it is avoidable after all.


The Undead



You see the Egg Corridor has exploded, okay! You also see dead dragons, what person would want to be unfinished? You see undead dragons, you have to kill them, um... no! That's right, beside the Egg Corridor suffering massive damage you notice that you have to kill poor, undead dragons. They are said to be confused and just start to attack, who could've done this? ObviouslyTheDoctor, hint, hint!


Toroko and Kings death


Toroko was force fed red flowers, causing her to go into rage. After this Toroko dies, as any true hero would, King tried to attack the Doctor and resulted in King's death. There's no way to skip this, somehow King and Toroko appear in the credits as people saved in the normal ending, so that's good, maybe? I'm not sure, but yes, you do have to kill Toroko.
