Another of my infamous "lost episode" pastas. They're a canonically in the same universe, and I have an idea for later. For now...

As a part time animator at the Hub, I'm not involved in every project that goes on. This often means I don't have any direct involvement with animation. Yet somehow, I was blamed for animating one of the worst disgraces to ever air on a children's network. I'm one of the animators for the show My Little Pony, Friendship is Magic.

As you know, the show has a very... devoted fan base, to say the least, and we're well aware of that. Many people know of the infamous fanfic, Cupcakes. I've read it. Not a bad story, but the author's no Stephen King. It didn't take long before the entire staff had heard of this story.

Just for and giggles, we'd made an animated copy of the show and posted on the Esquetaria Daily. It was phenomenally popular, but it wasn't long before our employers made us remove it. However, we'd secretly made a follow up to the episode. This is what I'm going to tell you about.

I had no involvement with the product, so I had no idea what to expect when I was invited to watch the sequel disc. In retrospect, I probably shouldn't have watched it. We had all plopped down in the screening room to view the disc. It was a bit of a dry spell for the show, so we were allowed to use the viewing room whenever. We popped the disc in and settled into our seats.

The first odd thing I noticed was there wasn't a cold opener. I knew this was a private copy, so they were probably a bit too lazy to incorporate it. The normal upbeat theme song plays as usual. I found myself humming in tune with the song until it ended. I looked back at the screen.

Pinkie Pie was slowly walking around in a darkened room, mumbling. You could only see her outline as she paced back and forth. I shifted in my seat a little, slightly uncomfortable at the dark opening. This went on for about 2 minutes until she flipped the switch, revealing the gore stained basement used in Cupcakes.

Pinkie slowly walked around, as if looking for something. She then walked slowly towards the corner. Rainbow Dash's sewn up corpse was propped against the wall, eyes half lidded and mouth closed in a deadpan, disappointed look. It was really sad really. Just looking at the mangled corpse made my eyes water.

She opened her mouth and started speaking. "Dash? It's me, Pinkie," she mumbled quietly, which was very much out of character. "Number 29 was today." She slowly walked towards the cutting table, the camera panning over a mess of shredded flesh that could barely be classified as an animal. "Wasn't much of a fighter. Mostly just sat there, crying in pain. Wish I could've stopped myself." She then held up Fluttershy's bloodied cutie mark.

I noticed one of the interns just roll his eyes and mutter, "This is stupid." I didn't know how people could be so apathetic. I turned back. Pinkie was walking around, tears dripping down her face at a steady rate. "I couldn't even hold it in that time. Just broke down crying while I was cutting through her chest. It's starting to get to me. I don't want a life like this. I hate killing my friends. I.... I.... don't know what to do."

It was then a faint laugh could be heard. It didn't last for more than a second, but was enough to seriously unnerve me. I could only imagine what was in store for the rest of the episode...

Actually...... I think I'll eschew the whole "multi part lost episode" crap and make it more of a story..... and I've got a devilish twist in mind, too.
