I saw it on Nick, and now realize why everyone says Nintendo is for little kids.

Sorry Nintendo, but five year olds humming the main theme of Super Mario Bros. is going to be a major turn-off to most people.

Oh, and their Style Savvy commercial is even worse.

Style Savvy is a game idiot, in the stimulation genre.

Why can't they do good commercials anymore, the DS had some good ones that didn't cater to little kids.

@Ron-I think Nintendo doesn't really care about the core anymore, despite the fact that hardcore gamers are the only ones who bought the Gamecube.

Nintendo of America: "Screw you hardcore gamers, we don't care if you boost the attach-rate of our systems and buy tons of DLC, we want to cater to five year olds and Soccer Moms who will gobble up minimum effort mini-game collections and shovelware, which will alienate 3rd parties! Yaaaay!"

Iwata: Sucks for you Americans. (laughs)

@Man-Heard about the Art Academy one, but the NSMB 2 one is new to me and sounds hilarious. Have fun collecting digital coins that aren't even real, and if you're willing to grind to a million, you are definitely a gamer.

You people are over reactting this is just a campaign trying to attract girls besides its not like gamers actually pay attention to these commercials since they mainly happen during shows that mainly little kids watch and not gamers. "Hardcore Gamers" dont need commercials to make them buy things. People like us look up the info ourselves and make logical decisions in buying things( well atleast most of us).

This is Nick were talking about. Since a bunch of kids watch the channel, it would be logic to put a kid commercial about the Wii U.

I don't fÏ…cking know why you were watching Nick anyways, but it's what every company does.

Nintendo is telling everyone that 3ds is for everyone, not just gamers. Everything isn't about hardcore games. Nintendo is trying to lure families to game together. What if a 5 year old wanted a 3ds. But uh-oh, no kid games.
