Although it wasn't scary or terrifying, the only thing that creeped me out in a video game more than those sea snakes in Majoras Mask was in Resident Evil: Revelations, when you find a note left from the Comms Officer, who has a key you need, saying that he'll be in the Promenade Deck. One of the only survivors on the ship...
You get to the Promenade Deck, the lights are dimmed, zombies crawl through every opening, and the sound of a banging door and an eerie, sickening chant ('Mayday, mayday! This is the Queen Zenobia, emergency call number-- MAAAAYYYYDAAAYYY!...' comes from a locked room toward the back of the deck...

Minecraft Herobrines mansion adventure map by hipixel.

Mostly on the blind maze part when an endernan appeared outta nowhere, skeleton arrows came outta nowhere, and a horde of zombies (not much for zombies since that's all that should be in there)
