Text adventures are games that tell a story, and use words you type in. Not the funnest thing...

Smile BASIC doesn't seem too 'basic' for me...
It's cool if you know what you're doing.

It's more like writing commands for a command line than it is actually programming. At least, that's what it feels like.

To me I just think that it's so...detached from every other language I've seen...

And Petit Computer isn't even that great in my opinion because I thought we would get access to COOL stuff like the cameras, microphones, filesystem...But no. We have this restricted environment, and all we can do is make games...a few apps, but even when you make a piano app or some crap your files are saved as PTC files, not MP3s or anything. So you're like, married to Petit Computer. :/
