I have absolutely no problems with mine. It works perfectly, it runs fast, the web browser is actually really (REALLY) fast. I have not encountered any of the problems that, that article was talking about. You should not be discouraged from buying it. Miiverse was buggy on launch day, but works perfectly now.

the reason it was laggy at launch day was because many people where setting it up for the first time and the servers at nintendo where being pounded by so many people.
All consoles don't have a perfect launch and there will always be problems. The wii U is just so ing amazing

I just read the article and it was one of the worst written articles that i have ever read in my LIFE! Dont go to to this site anymore. They obviously did absolutely NO RESEARCH! It disgusts me how some people get payed to write c.rap like this.
