The Xbox360 sold twice as much as the U during Black Friday, and the PS3 also sold more, so no, the industry doesn't need saving.

And the poster who said that Nintendo lost money off the Wii is dead wrong, the Wii gave Nintendo nothing but profit, they never sold it at a loss, and sold more than 90 million Wiis, not to mention they made millions off of Wii games like Brawl and NSMB Wii, the only people who lost money were all the 3rd parties whose games flopped due to being poorly marketed or inferior to the PS3/360 versions.
