HELLO creepypasta readers! I have decided to post a plethora of short horror stories in this forum. However, I do like input- you request it, I write it! I'll post each individual story in the comments. For now, enjoy this.

The Grim Puppeteer

Mr. Dredger was putting the finishing touches on his ever so adorable little puppet. He finished stitching the faint pink blush into the "skin" of the plushy marionette doll. He turned around with a megawatt smile. He handed the dear little thing to the five year old girl patiently in front of the counter. "Here you are, little lady," he said in a pleasant and rickety old voice. The little girl gasped and ran to her parents with excitement evident in her voice. "Look, look! It's just like me! Look! Are you looking!?" Her blonde little pigtails bounced up and down with her. Her parents gave her a gentle smile and set down the $30 for the doll. "Thank you for your patronage," said the old man kindly.

They left the store with a nod and a smile. The old man put his feet up on the counter. "I love my job," he said with a slight chuckle. He walked back into his "storage room," or so he called it. He slowly pushed the rickety old door open.

He walked into the darkened room and flipped the switch. Sitting right there was a partially mutilated corpse of a 10 year old boy. "Such a troublemaker he was." The old man carefully pulled out a few of the boy's ribs. He ground the ends down to a fine point and set them into a roughly humanoid shape. He cut off a large sheet of skin and threaded his needle. He sewed the orangish thread through the flesh and grafted it to the sharpened ribs.

Then, he pulled out some of the organs. He dried them out and stuffed them into the human-esque body. He then sewed one of the "pre-made" doll heads onto the neck of the body. He slapped a cute little suit and yarn hair onro the little puppet.

He walked to the front of the store where a little boy was waiting anxiously. He wordlessly set the doll onto the counter where the little boy took it and his parents paid. They politely left through the frosted glass doors with a soft "ding" of a bell. "I love my job," the old man said smiling.

And that is why I hate puppets.

Block #74

There was a rumor going around that the block "Crying Obsidian" (originally intended to be a spawn point until beds came along) were going to be in a future Minecraft update. Naturally, I posted a thread in the Minecraft forums trying to confirm the rumor. The mods knew nothing and closed off the thread, just as I anticipated. Right before I logged off, an anonymous user sent me a PM about the thread. He said it would, as a matter of fact, be in the next update.

My guess was some jackass had just sent me a mod or something trying to get my hopes up. I figured I'd humor him and install the mod. When I clicked on the download link, the screen flashed static and had a screamer picture of that one "Steve" picture with human eyes Photoshopped on. MOTHER FU-, I thought as I jumped slightly. Just a prank. Or so I thought.

I started up Minecraft just because I was bored. I decided to try Tekkit, which I downloaded a few days ago but never tried. Then I noticed another mod in there. It was just, as far as I could tell. a bunch of jumbled letters and numbers. The name was "3!*ck 74 w¡!! nd u." It translated to "Block 74 will End You." Thinking of it as some pathetic joke, I rolled my eyes and opened it up.

I started a world up, only to realize there was NOTHING DIFFERENT. No new mobs, no new crafting items, not even so much as a change of appearance. I knew it was some kind of joke, but kept playing anyway. As always with Minecraft, I get bored and get off eventually. But I couldn't help thinking of that mod's name.

That being a fairly successful world, I kept playing through it. A few weeks later, I finally found something out of place. After wandering around trying to find a new establishment since my previous one was obliviated by an ever annoying creeper, I found something odd, to say the least. It was a perfect 99 patch of cobblestone. My first thought was there was a monster spawner. After breaking a bit of it, I found there was no spawner. But I did find cobblestone stairs. Out of curiosity, I started descending them. They went down with a large obsidian pillar in the center, effectively preventing me from seeing the bottom. I finally got to the bottom and found something most strange. I realized I was at bedrock level.

The room was completely walled in with bedrock, with chests against every wall. The chests were COMPLETELY FILLED WITH DIAMONDS. Each chest had 60 stacks of 64 diamonds, each. How I was going to carry all those diamonds wasn't too terribly important at the moment. What was was the centerpiece of the room. It was 8 blocks of mossy cobblestone, with one block of crying obsidian in the middle. I decided to mine it.

It mined much quicker than I'd initially expected. It was like hitting dirt with a gold shovel. It went right into my inventory. Oddly enough, the block didn't have a name. No name whatsoever. In the middle of all the cobblestone hole that seemed to go down beyond the Void. I was reluctant to go in, so I decided to head back up, only to find the entrance and ceiling were barricaded off with bedrock.

It was then I noticed a sign on the wall. It said only one thing, but that was enough to chill me to the bone. "Your earthy possessions will be of no assistance to you." Not having any other options, I jumped into the hole.

As I anticipated, the regular "You died" screen came up. I respawned, only to find I wasn't on the surface anymore. I was in a completely flat terrain. It was as if Superflat was on, but it wasn't. The ground was all bedrock, and the sky was black like the Void. There was nothing I could do. Was this his fate? To just aimlessly wander between salvation and damnation forever? With no end in sight? It seemed like it.

I played the world a bit more, but got discouraged when nothing was found. I quit and went to bed, but something compelled me to keep playing. To find an end to the endless. A rest for the innocent. I mean, nothing is forever...

...Right?
