i walk down the brick path
rain splashing my face
trying to make sense of this tragedy
my life is no longer worth anything
nothing for myself is left
the flower of hope bloomed once before
now it is wilted
im not sure if i should leave everything behind
and look for a new life
no one would care if i did, anyway
water splashes around my feet as i walk
the rain is falling from the clouds.
