So, I finally got my parents to look into this with their credit card. Thing is, when they go on the payment screen, it says there are "Recurring payments" of one dollar every 5 years. Now their suspicious when there is no reason to be. What is this?

Sadly, I used the subscribe button instead of the paypal donate button ()

I tried to turn off the the recurring payment, but I couldn't. That's why I set the time range as long as possible: 5 years.

You can just unsubscribe from the recurring payment after paying, though.
