Pearl Barrette
An original story
It was a cold day, at about 30 degrees. There were rain clouds in the air. Rosalie, a girl at age 14 was walking across her old elementry school's recess feild. It was a plain green grassy feild, outlined by trees. Among those trees, there was a bench. This was in the corner of the feild, just peaking out from the wood. The bench was solid wood, not just wood planks. It was elegantly polished, but darken from all the years. There was a hod over it, like those swings with the cloth curvy hood over it to hide the shade. But the hood was barely noticeable due to the fact that vines and tree branches lay over it.
Rosalie was making her way to this spot. It had been her favorite spot ever since the first day she came to this school. She often lay there at recess, for it had a perfect view of the feild that over 125 kids played on at recess time. Rosalie came back here every day, even though she's now in high school as a freshman. She loved to sing there, listening to her voice echo against the hood and trees. So today, she planned on singing her favorite song. She started to sing it with her eyes closed, dancing and twirling to the bench. She knew she was near, so she opened her eyes.
"Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!" Screamed Rosalie as she saw another girl sitting on the bench, looking at Rosalie with her eyebrows raised. She had long black hair in a braid, and a flower patterned dress flowed to her crossed knees, covering the thigh part of her skull patterned tights. The stick-like heel on the 3 inch heels she was wearing dug into the soft soil. "And what are you doing?" she asked ina soft voice. "More of a question, what are YOU doing!?" Rosalie asked. 'And who are you! I've never seen you in my life!". "I," The girl said, putting a hand over her chest to indicate herself, "Am Evely (Eve-el-E). I just moved here with my parents. You know this bench is quite famous, right?" the girl said. "Ummm, I've never known" Rosalie replied. So the girl said "Well, you don't do research much do you? Well, this very bench was built by Harriet Q. Wonderhall. She put it here to hide her passed childs items. But, so said, the items are only shown to someone if Harriet thinks they're earning of it". "That's silly! I've sat on that bench practically my whole life! I think I'd be earning enough!" Rosalie yelled. "Well perfect, you may have already earned it, but you'll have to be close to it for them to show. But the big reason Im here is for something I estimated looked a little like this!" Evely said, pulling out a crumple piece of paper. She smoothed it out and it showed a sketch of a black barrette with a big huge pearl looking item on the end. "Ok, but wait! I'veonly just meant you! This feels like it's moving too fast!"
"But that's great! We need that barrette!" Evely said, quickly standing and stomping. "Now sit your butt down!". Rosalie walked towards the bench and sat down. Evely's eyes widened. "See! You never knew becaus eof the hood! But I can see through the bottom! They're here! The items are here!" Evely ran behind the bench. Rosalie stood up and went behind too.
It was magical! A small cleared dirt patch had appeared! Boxwes of old dolls piled high. Old jewls layered the floor. "No! No this is a joke! Im going to wake up, and this will all be gone!" Rosalie closed her eyes. But Evely picked up a necklace of diamonds that glittered. She put the necklace on Rosalie. "Rosalie, girl, this is real!"

So, this here story is all made up by me and my mind. It was actually a dream I had (That's wear most all my stories come from). Im deffinetly going to write it all here so you'll be the first to know. But it you show this to anyone or send or share it of ANY TYPE. I WANT FULL CREDIT!
