Killswitch
ultraguy4 (2013-02-17 21:29:26)The reason why the game is so sought out is because most people beat the game as Porto, for trying to judge jump distances as Ghast was difficult because she was invisible. As such, nobody knew Ghast's side of the story. The last known copy was bought by a Japanese collector in 2005 in mint condition for $756,000. He planned to record a video of himself playing through the game as Ghast and post it online. However, he never posted a video, but one was leaked of him. It was 1:25 and just showed him crying the entire video at the character select screen of Killswitch...

Have any of you ever heard of Killswitch? It's a 1989 survival horror/puzzle game that has become something of a legend in the gaming community. You can play as 1 of 2 characters, an invisible, fire breathing demon girl named Ghast, or a human woman who grows and shrinks at random times known as Porto. You are investigating the collapse of a coal mine and the strange circumstances surrounding the deaths of the miners. The gameplay was critically acclaimed and is said to be the father of games such as Silent Hill and Myst. However, the game could only be played ONCE. After then, it erased itself from computers and couldn't be reinstalled or copied in any way. Anyone have any other info or such about the game?
