MH3U isn't an RPG. It has no leveling up system. That's the main system to RPGs. Especially JRPGs. MH3U is an action, really. But I know what you mean.

Actually your AI helpers and armor can level up, so I guess that would make it an Action-RPG?

I'd say it's one of the best of 2013, but I'll hold that judgement until Pokemon X/Y comes out.

It's pretty amazing, especially you can cross play with Wii U and 3DS.
