Hey guys, Rin here with another thread. Uh, I've noticed people are starting to attract and gain interest about the next MH title(Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate). As the name implies, you basically take on the role of Hunter in this 3rd person RPG, who takes on quests, hunts monsters(obvious), etc.
WARNING: This MAY be a long thread
Now, let's get to the game. This epic video game was made by Capcom, and is the first entry in this series to ever come to the 3ds and Wii U.
MH3 U's all-around Gameplay
Believe it or not, MHU is not the kind of game you may think it is. It's actually quite strategic, depending on your weapons, items, and armor. For Example, a n00b would still be pwned(badly) with the best armor and weapon, but a veteran to the series, or good player, could smash with just a bare naked person(no armor) and a dumb-butt weapon. Basically, the game revolves around, well, Skill(Similar to KI:U).
The control scheme consists of the Analog Stick, ABXY buttons, D-pad, and Select/Start. Using the A-stick, you move the character you play as. The D-pad is used as a sort of second control stick, though it controls your view/different directions. In order to let you control this better, they stuck a virtual D-pad on the right-side of the touch screen. A is for light-attack, or to fire projectiles with Bowguns and Bows. B is for rolling, X for heavy attacks. Y for item-use and putting your weapon/items away. The games graphics are pretty decent, with HD graphics on Wii U and the music is good and exhilarating. The only bad thing is, the restricted amount of adventuring. The maps are cut up into sections, and aren't really exciting unless you're fighting a bigger monster(The main monster you need to slay).
Now, let's go deeper into the multiplayer.
Unluckly, Wii U only gets Online Multiply-Player, where as 3ds gets local options only. You know what's even worse? REGION LOCKS- Only Americans, play with Americans, Japanese hang with Japanese. But luckly, lag is gone, so if you don't mind playing(hunting) along-side your own race, you're fine.
Weapon Types
In this game, there about 10 different types(I think). Sword/Sheild, Great Sword, Hunting Horn, Dual Blades, Hammer, Light Bow-Gun, Heavy Bow-Gun, Swtich Axe, and a Bow. Use what ever you like.
By the way, Monster Hunter 4is about to come out in Japan, 3ds exclusive. Depending on how popular it is in the West, they MAY decide to send it over to NA. And it has online multiplayer. Region Locks? I don't know, but you're welcome for a quick glimpse of what the game will be like.

I've got nothing good to put here.

Kik me, PwnKing123, if you want to talk to me more. I'll probably forget about Plaza altogether.
