Sonic Classic Collection got my expectations too high. I got it because it would be handy on the go. But I have better emulation on my phone.
Running a modified version of a DS Homebrew app, JEnesisDS, this is the strangest compilation I have ever seen. The guy who made JEnesisDS actually got HIRED by Sega for production of this game. The games are modified roms, only can be ran in the game or JEnesisDS (homebrew). I'm not sure, but I think you can add Genesis roms to this.
The game features all of the Genesis four, plus Knuckles in Sonic 3 (Sonic 3 & Knuckles originally) and Knuckles in Sonic 2. Emulation is very strange. Slightly distorted color, muffled sound, and blurry. You also can't pause with start, making the level select in Sonic & Knuckles and Sonic 3 & Knuckles obsolete. However, all cheats for Sonic 1 and Knuckles in Sonic 2 work. Only "Change Tail's Name to Miles" works in Sonic 2.
Overall, I suggest you don't buy it. Unless you don't have an Android and want Sonic on the go. Either buy a Sega Nomad from E-Bay, or pay $19.99 USD to get poor emulation. 7/10 due to Knuckles lock-ons. Would be 6/10, but I play this when my phone dies.
