Okay, this is something I not agree about.
In the past:
You are new. You chat, go on forums and make friends, that are new to Plaza as well. They respect you. Because they can.

Now:
To get respect, you'll need to friend someone that has 51% of respect. But what if that person doesn't want to be friends with you? How can you get the respect you deserve? Very annoying. Annoying for the ones with 51% of respect. Why? When the noobs get to know about this, they'll suck up, try to be friends and more to get those people to respect them. So, what are your thoughts about it?

It's mainly to prevent people that create lots of alts and go respecting themselves and disrespecting others.

It's more annoying when someone flings their alt army to disrespect you and respect themselves, giving THEM the stars.



Also, the liking-comment idea would work, especially since comments can be posted in masses without people noticing them, and not all alts are obvious.
