Hey there...! / I'm just going to give a little bit of help of what you DON'T want to write in your stories. This tips will come from mostly from my English class. XP But less boring... Well anyways, here:

Tip 1: DON'T spell words wrong. It messes with people's minds... o-o ... Actually, it just gets people's attention quicker. If you spell a big word right, your readers will think you're smart. (This will really help in Non-Fiction)

Tip 2: DON'T forget about punctuation. It'll look like a whole big sentence paragraph thing. Example: I ran through the forest scenting the air for any predators or prey I thought I scented a rabbit a little bit to the north but then I decided to keep going
See? It's kind of strange...

Tip 3: DON'T forget CAPITALIZATION. A (good) a (bad) B (good) b (bad) C (good) c (bad) D (good) d (bad) Example: I ran a mile. Capitalize the 'I' at the front of the sentence. I don't know why I'm explaining this... You guys most likely know this all.

Tip 4: DON'T forget to capitalize the first letter in names/proper nouns. Proper noun- A specific name of a Person, Place, Thing, or Idea. (I know, idea should be qualified as a thing, but in some cases it is not a thing.)

Tip 5: When you are writing an article, story, etc. You should do the following:

Article/Short Story: (i.e.,) "The Lion and the Mouse" Use quotation marks.

(long)Story: (i.e.,) Little Women You can underline long stories or italicize them. (i.e.,) Little Women

Tip 6: When you quote someone, use quotation marks. ( "" )

Tip 7: No run-ons, stringy sentences, or fragments. These will ruin your stories easily.
