angelrulez7 (2013-04-10 05:59:57)Sonic Crackers is not fake. It has a really close link with Chaotix.

This is their excuse for a title screen? An ASCII?
Sonic Crackers is a prototype of Knuckles' Chaotix for the Sega Genesis. It is unknown how this rom was found; Sega never gave in credit to exist. But it's been confirmed; this is a Sega game. Strangely, instead of the special Sonic "Segaaaa!", it uses the Sega opening sequence from Shinobi III.
Sonic and Tails are linked by rings that they are holding. It uses Sonic 2 sprites. Sonic can throw Tails. If you pause, you can move freely.
Apparently, the game's header says "SONIC STUDIUM". It's thought to be a translation error of "SONIC STADIUM", but a translation error would be "SONIC STUJIUM". This has had many people wondering.
Well, yeah.

Proof to be real:
Chaotix Prototype 1207:
The text "SonicCrackersS32X" can be found in Time Attack's attraction screen. The S32x stands for Super 32X. This confirms that Sonic Crackers was in fact a Knuckles Chaotix prototype.
On the NPC select menu from Time Attack, the music is DIRECTLY from sonic crackers; no difference whatsoever.
When Mighty uses the wall kick, it is different and it's "automatic". It uses an unused sprite found in the final, and of course, matches with the adjacent unused sprite for Sonic in Sonic Crackers.
