When you all saw that trailer, we were all hyped. It seemed that Pokemon X and Y came way too early once we had Pokemon Black/White, but this is a nice new step for Pokemon overall. Lets talk about the pokemon for a while.
Update June 14: Another trailer was released for Pokemon X and Y, making it the 4th one. It basically showed Vivillon's Pre-evolutions, showed that you can move freely in any direction within a town.
News May 15: An anonymous, supposedly 'genuine' source claims that the rumored "Fairy-type" is a new type of Pokemon that will be introduced in Pokemon X and Pokemon Y. According to the source, the newly discovered Eevee evolution, Sylveon, is "Fairy-type," and is weak against Poison and Steel-type Pokemon, immune to Dragon-types, super-effective against Dragon, Dark and Fire-types. Below you can read more rumors on "Fairy-type" Pokemon, along with some unconfirmed details on Pokemon X and Pokemon Y.
CONFIRMED!
- Fairy will be a new type. It is weak to Poison and Steel, immune to Dragon, super effective against Dragon, Dark, and Fighting, and Fire and Psychic-type Pokemon take half damage from it.
- Sylveon is Fairy-type. Some older Pokemon will be reclassified to Fairy, such as Mawile, Gardevoir, Sylveon, Maril, and Jigglypuff.
- Mewtwo has two new formes, not just one. Both are activated via items.
- The professor's English name is Patrice.
- The Starter final evolutions are Fire/Psychic, Grass/Fighting, and Water/Dark.
- The first Gym is Bug, the second is Fairy, and the fourth is Fighting.
- A few attacks will be dual-typed.
- There will be a new type of battling style that Flying-type Pokemon and Pokemon with Levitate can participate in.
- You will be able to see a Pokemon's EVs at a certain in-game facility. You will be able to boost the EVs through mini-games. It will take about two hours to get one stat to max EVs.
New Pokemon attack moves:
Parting shot: This move lowers the opponent's Attack and Special Attack stats, and then causes the user to retreat from battle
Parabola Charge: Heals the user while damaging your opponent.
Parting Remark: Lowers your opponent's stats and switches your pokemon out.
Boomburst: Explosive sound wave that damages all nearby Pokemon.
Moonblast: Fairy-type move that calls on the power of the moon to attack an opposing Pokemon. This move can be very powerful and also lowers the opposing Pokemon's Attack stat.
Fairy Wind: This move is a Fairy-type move that does damage
Battle Cry: Lowers the opponent's attack.

This pokemon doesn't look similar to a animal relevant creature at all. This pokemon sure seems to be very different from sceptile, and won't be a bulky venusaur or Megnanium and will probably be a Mixed attacker.
The final evolve form of Chespin will be Grass/Dark, to be able to counter fennekin for being a fire type.

Due to it's appearance, this pokemon will most likely be chosen. It does seem to have some potential and will work as a Ninetales without drought. It will most likely be a Special attacker due to most fire and psychic type attacks tend to be Special typed.
The final evolve form of Fennekin will be Fire/Psychic, to be able to counter Froakie for being a water type.

This pokemon seems like it won't be a bulky water type like the other starters, it shows some potential and may have nice distribution of stats where it needs it. Most likely have more on special attack, It'll probably work as a milotic.
The final evolve form of Froakie will be Water/Fighting, to be able to counter Chespin for being a grass type.
The image is just a rumor on how their appearances would shape shift into. It's good that the typing of the starters can finally counter over each other, so we can actually have some sense in direction to beating their counters.

Let's look at this for example, it's size and weight for example. There are a lot of you who just adore Sylveon mainly for how it looks, but when it comes to information, even someone who can care less about it knows more. First off, look at the weight of this Eeveelution. It's 23.5 KG, considering this, it's the "Lightest" eevee of them all, so it's most likely to be a flying type. The way it can evolve would possibly be by level. Gimmicks were thrown a lot of the time, such as using a stone to evolve, friendship during the night and day, training near a location of a forest or snow. So I'm thinking Eevee is finally given a evolution, but I think this isn't possible. Lots of people fan eevee, and for it to finally have a evolution, will just make them wonder. There have been a few rumors going on that there is a new type coming along being Light. Light being super to Dark and Vice Versa, but it is unknown.

This pokemon is a waste of a legendary, over-sized sawsbuck. Nothing much to say about this legendary, rather than it being the main cover of Pokemon X (If I'm correct). It may be a physical attacker.

When I saw this, I just shook my head in disapproval, they're starting to make Dragon Ball Z into Pokemon. I think of it as a physical attacker Mewtwo having a held item to change it's form. They done it to Genesect, Arceus, Girantina, Shaymin, and they'll do it to Mewtwo... too

As far as I know, you can ride this pokemon in the field and it can learn Horn Leech. Pretty basic for a pokemon so far. A new method of transportation, riding the brand-new Pokemon, Gogoat. This large Grass-type Pokemon is a reliable way to travel certain parts of Lumiose City. In battle, it can use Horn Leech to recover HP equal to half the damage dealt by this move.

Looks like a malformed Mawile, but it looks fine as a pokemon anyway, not too flashy, and it will probably be one of the first pokemon in the fields to replace Blitzle. The cowardly Pokemon Helioptile, a Normal- and Electric-type Pokemon, can generate enough electricity through sunbathing to power machinery. But wise Trainers won't be deterred by Helioptile's lack of bravery. It knows Parabolic Charge, a brand-new move where Helioptile attacks everything around it. Helioptil's HP is restored by half the damage taken by those hit.

This will most likely be a very generic pokemon, this is the only pokemon to be revealed with an evolution. Appearance could've been better though. Fletchling, a Normal- and Flying-type Pokemon, sings with a beautiful chirp that is sure to delight any Trainer. Although it is known to be very friendly, Fletchling will suddenly unleash relentless attacks once it's in battle. For example, when it uses its Fire-type move Flame Charge in battle, in addition to doing damage, Fletchling's Speed increases every time.

Not bad, it'll probably have a strange looking evolution to go along with this, probably end up having a tree shoved in it's mouth... Yea, they did it to Timburr and it's evolutions. With a leaf always in its mouth and an intimidating glare that is rarely effective, Fighting-type Pokemon Pancham shows its playful side when it lets out a little smile when its head is pat. Pancham can learn a brand-new move, Parting Shot, which not only lowers an opponent's Attack and Special Attack, but also allows Pancham to switch out for another Pokemon in a Trainer's party during battle.

A new feature called Pokemon Ami (I believe), where you can interact with your pokemon to grow a stronger bond. This probably will effect stuff such as moves like return or pokemon that evolve through friendship.
Sky Battles confirmed, only Flying-types and Levitators can participate.
Horde Encounters are a new type of wild battle. 5 on 1 battle. May include Pokemon of multiple species rather than just one.
Below is a bunch of information on the game itself.
This was found on a random google search. It's most likely fake, but it's better of what I've seen on X and Y so far.
The game starts in the Karos Region which appears to be based off France. The Main town is Miare City. At the bottom left, you can see that you will be able to use pokemon to ride them. A lot of nice additions are being added, nobody likes you bike, you always hit walls.
This is the Continental Layout of the Pokemon world, most of it being in Japan, just scattered around. Black and White was inspired by New york. X and Y Region would be in France.
In this pokemon game, it is most likely that you'll finally be able to customize your outfit, to give that feel. Why else would he appear in front of a mirror? To Look at himself?
What I just stated above is confirmed!
Notice the image. What do you see the male trainer doing? Is it running? Not exactly the trainer is actually skating. That's right, you won't be using running shoes anymore, I wonder if you can use them indoors
Remember the transition switching when you go from one area to another? It seems that won't be possible in this game and it automatically generates far distances depending on where you stand (Sort of like Animal Crossing Wild World). I think the only time it would fade to Black would be obvious, such as entering a house, going in a cave, or entering a forest. Notice that in the picture, it says "3" Route 3.
Every time you encounter a pokemon, the pokemon will be behind the grass and will open up between the curtains to reveal what wild pokemon it is. So you will see this a lot of time, and you will have to get used to it. Perhaps in a cave, it can be behind some dirt or rocks as it closens in.
In the trailer, you noticed some girl is following you around from behind, but she's also carrying a camera, perhaps this is a side-quest?
If you look closely at the arrows, what do you see? It has to do with genetic engineering. Now with this in mind, I can see why A genetic pokemon like Mewtwo would have to represent itself. Bare in mind, this is the logo of Both Pokemon X and Y, so both games have some sort of connection.
If you look to the right, you'll see the games of Pokemon X and Y. Those will probably be the Japanese and US release appearances of the games.
This is all I have to say and noticed. This is not all true, it is based on opinion and finding out facts. Don't argue over things you think because you'll just sound like a kid in favoritism. Thanks for viewing this topic, I'll be adding more in a nearby future.
