How can MKDS be better than MK7? Drifting sucks, items are 2D, and it's glitchy.

You can actually use a mushroom to dash out of it's way, you need to use it at the perfect time, then you'll dash out of harm's way.

Then if you jump off the map, the spiney shell will still go around the entire map and will hit the person in 1st. You'll still listen to the spiney shell warning beep, but it won't hit you thou.
