Ok, so I have a choice of getting a game in a few weeks. But I don't know what game I should get. I LOVE the MH3U and FE:A demos, so which one shall I get?

If you love RPGs, then get FE:A. If you like open world hunting games, get MH3

How are they both overrated? Have you checked the eshop lately?

I say get both. Because when you get FE:A it's awesome and if you just want to play something more violent that lets you take control thats where MH3U comes in.

Get FE:A, even though you appear to hate grids. Lol.

I've extensively played and I own both, and here's what I have to say

MH3U is better. Fire Emblem is pretty good, but one you beat the story you kind of have to dredge up content and grind a lot to keep yourself entertained.

There's a good amount of grinding in Monster Hunter too, but you are completely drowning in content, there is always something interesting to do and the quests just keep coming. I'd say it's at least 5X as long as FE:A and that's being generous.

Also, they both have DLC, but you have to pay in FE:A, but in MH3U it's 100% free.

Also, Monster Hunter is an RPG too, but it's more of an Action-RPG while Fire Emblem is a Strategy-RPG.

Don't listen to Nintendude, he's misinformed, because MH3U is not free roaming. Neither games are free roaming, MH3U just happens to have large areas but it is very much linear.

Monster Hunter 4 will be free roaming.

Another thing is MH3U has far better graphics. I'm still pissed about the feet thing in FE:A, and I'm glad MH3U has none of that bullcrap.

^ That's what I'm getting.
