Portable: DS (Lite)
Console: N64

My console pick was a dfficult choose between it and the NES. NES did so many things right and has a wonderfully diverse library of games. However, thinking it over very carefully, the N64 despite having fewer games has better polished games in general with a higher appeal for replay value. That is to say I spent way more time with the N64 even though I've owned my NES nearly ten years longer.
