I feel as if this would be a useful sub-forum for gaming. As this site has reviewers who rate games, it made me wonder why we don't have some other members of this community contributing by posting tips and tricks for we play to aid others who may have problems with "That one Level" or "That one boss" that always seem impassible.

The next thing I suggest ties into this, and is a quality of life suggestion for the forums. There are many times where there is a thread we all hate, yet it stays up because a few people are unaware of the content, then keep posting in it. The appreciation system is nice, but it doesn't really convey how strongly the community feels. I'm going to propose a (+1 -1) system.

Basically, the first post of the thread will have a +1 or -1 option, and after (X) votes, the majority will have a small icon representing a negative/positive icon next to the thread. This will show which threads we consider good, and which threads bad. It also makes the moderator's job easier by indicating the "Bad threads", and allowing the mods to ban/close/delete as needed without having to sift through every thread to find which ones need closing.

How does this tie into the Walkthrough forums? Well, obviously bad guides are a waste of time right? For this forum, it will become an indication of which guides were the most useful/most useless and therefore skip the bad ones. For the Artwork/Writing forums, it serves as a rating more than anything, allowing members to see exactly what is the popular opinion for their creations.

Is good no?

I love this idea, all the way!

It would be cool if moderators could feature popular reviews/walkthroughs which have a high amount of appreciation; this might also encourage users to write actual good ones.

Like, there could be a sub-category for "Featured User Submitted Reviews/walkthroughs".

I don't know...I'm just brainstorming aloud Either way, fantastic idea!

Also, should there be a limit of how many threads you can (dis)approve of in a certain amount of time or days?
