Lets change this thread title to: "Sony's devices, including consoles"



Hey people,
I'm here talk about Sony a little bit.

Sony has been really good in manufacturing helpful materials to make life on earth a little more enjoyable.

How Sony puts these materials together are not to common with other devices.

The problem is, certain problems occurs when using Sony's products. These "problems" may occure only 3 years after buying the device.

These problems could be disc reading problems, over-heating problem from lack of support of the fan to cool down the system [a Little rare],freezing problems, Blue Ray drive problems, etc..

Problems like these, are mainly occurring in PS systems.

Another problem is a dead laser but this can be replaced for a low price if your warranty hasn't run out or if you have not removed the warranty sticker.

Sony does a good job developing the PS systems, but they focus on the software so much, they don't really think about the common errors in systems like these.

PS3's and probably PS4's you will probably find these problems the most. They focused so much on new software in both consoles and did not think about common errors which could occur (here are some more problems: disk not spinning, clock not spinning in the top right, game freezing, and and especially dusty laser lens, etc..)

Though, the dusty laser lens or dead laser can be fixed: Dust of the laser or replace the dead laser. But, problem is that you have to open the console to see if its either of these or either of the other problems and errors

There is really no known fix to the other problems, but people have been opening up their PS3 or PS4 [which violates you warranty] and have found out that their disc reading problem was caused my their discs' not spinning. you will only find this out when you open your PS3 or PS4. This problem can be fixed somehow, but you can look up how to fix this particular problem.

The Blue ray problem can be fixed. You will have to search on how to fix this. The fix will certainly involve opening you PS3 or PS4.
But if the searches you look up are not showing the right results in in you PS console, you may need to contact Sony and ask them to fix this problem. The cost is around $80, but if you opened you PS console which violated the warranty, Sony will charge you up to $120, which the total cost would be $200. This is a lot of money, so if you want to avoid paying this much, here are your options: do not violet your warranty or violate your warranty and fix your problem without Sony's help.

if you opened up your PS console and made some fixes and it still did not work and if you don't want to just sit around not violating your warranty to avoid paying, just send it to Sony. The price is still a little outrages, but it's less money then what you payed for the whole console.

All the other problems are mainly permanent problems.


Microsoft has done a great job with their products, especially their XBOX GENERATIONS. The only problem you will have with this is the RROD [Red Ring of Death]. This is a sign that you XBOX has over heated so much, that your system was damaged. Now, this may go away from time to time, but you XBOX is still damaged. If this never goes away, you have really damaged the XBOX, if you feel the top or side of the XBOX [where the openings are] while you have played you XBOX for at least 45 minutes, you will feel that the inside is really hot. Microsoft knew that this problem would occure, and that's why they built a little fan system. You put it under your XBOX directly where one side of the openings are, and while playing it cools the system. Play for 45 minutes; you will notice that it is not as hot as before when you weren't using the fan. So really,
MICROSOFT IS BETTER THAN SONY.



I'm just wanted to warn you guys about this so you guys won't think, "OH NO, I MESSED UP MY PS3 [or PS4] and yes, these problems "could" occur in PS4s. So if you think you jacked-up your PS3 or PS4, refer back to this thread.

I hope you guys heed these words about Sony and their devices, especially their consols.

I like Microsoft for the Xbox 360, and I like sony For making the PS2 and the vita (Although I don't own a vita, I still think that there awesome).

^ Xbox waited untill Nintendo makes there System. That's why it has Features like Tv (Nintendo Tvii) And I bet they are gonna make a Game Pad like the WiiU. And the XboxOne is Heavy so, that could be your Gym for the Day. The only thing that's good about the Xbox is you can Order Pizza. And also, that Proves Xbox is for Lazy People. And I forgot to mention Earlyer that the XboxOne is gonna be like a Re-make of the Windows 8 only more of a Gaming one. Now to PS4. The PS4 (Playstation 4) has a very nice Controler, and it will be great on a Sony TV since Sony makes good TV's. And the PS4 is Lighter ( I didn't say the Lightest ) Than the XboxOne. So, I would Prefer Both I'm not on a Side.

Every company wants money, so they have to listen to the fans so THEY can buy their products.

Vita's most requested feature was having 2 analogs.
Came True

Fans wanted the Mother series to come on Virtual Console

Xbox fans hates the Kinnect.
Xbox One REQUIRES the Kinnect. Most of the new IPs Microsoft are making are Kinnect games.

Wii U's presentation focused on GamePad how it would revolutionize gaming

PS4's DualShock 4 entirely focuses on gaming

Xbox One only cares about TV.

Nintendo and Sony DOES care about us, and the games. Microsoft doesn't care a crap but money.
