As everyone might know, you get strikes if you break the rules in the chatrooms.

I think that strikes should be removed after a certain time.
Everybody makes mistakes and there should be a way to remove the strikes again.

I was thinking of removing one strike each month, but only when you don't collect new strikes within that month.

Please say what you think and don't run away!

yeah, maybe after every 2 weeks 1 strike can be removed, and then the next 2 weeks, another strike romoved

As a normal user, you won't get 12 strikes. I am mostly thinking of false reportings. I would say the maximum of this is 4.
It would take you 4 months to remove all the strikes. Plus, maybe they could be removed every two weeks. In that case, it was less than 2 months.

Don't forget: I don't want to give a present to those who often break the rules but to those who were false reported. Or those who were not so careful. They can learn from their mistakes and it will be nullified in the next months.

Good idea. I had 3 strikes for the past 2-3 weeks. ! Only my first strike. It really does have to get removed. What about every 2-3 weeks?

v-v Ok, lemme rephrase that. Whenever a user breaks a rule, sometimes a mod strikes them 3 times, or 4 times. See what I mean? And so, removing 3 strikes every 1-2 weeks is helpful. ^

I think I see what you mean. You say that you get more than one strike for an infraction. And therefore, you want more than one strike being removed after 1 or 2 (or 3) weeks.
I disagree with you because then it wouldn't leave a bad feeling if you really break the rules. All the strikes were removed in a few weeks, so nobody really cared of the site rules. That is not what we want, is it?
