Animal Crossing: New Leaf - Get Good
FrequentDeath (2013-06-14 03:28:14)Go to the island past 7pm and catch beetles, beetles only. Cut down the trees and bushes in the grassy area, in fact cut everything down. Scare away all of the bugs except for beetles, and fill up your basket entirely. Go back to the island and get a lot of money from selling them at re-tail.

FrequentDeath (2013-06-14 03:32:51)I have another one,
When you obtain The Roost (the cafe at the museum), work there. If you get 4 orders right, you'll get a very good coffee bean. Now you can sell this for 2,000 bells at re-tail in the flea market, but you can go higher, some people have even gotten to sell it for 80,000 bells.
Anyways, to get the cafe:
Museum Store (second floor) built for about 7 days
50+ fish/bugs/fossils/paintings donated to the Museum
298,000 Bells

WiiGi (2013-06-14 04:22:08)I added the previous one, but the ones after I hadn't known until you mentioned them. Thanks for contributing, I'll add them right now ^^
FrequentDeath (2013-06-14 21:43:37)I still don't understand how you get the blue alpaca to make you things.

Getting good at Animal Crossing? Is this even possible for a Sim look-alike game? Yes, it is. Here I will help you, I will list all the important things that can be achieved through playing the game from start. I'll edit this every single day, depends on how much I want to add, since there's a lot to cover up, so I'll start with the basics.
June 17 Update: I added all the fish, added some new unlock information. I just need to add bugs + Sea creatures! Stay Tuned. [editing]
Best way to make money: To farm money, basically go to the island, cut the trees in the middle and just go around catching beetles for 8k, every now and then youll see a shark, the spawn system has a limit to how much bugs there will be and others wont spawn until they are either caught, or leave the screen by distance/death. This has to be done before 7PM, as beetles don't occur as much, but sharks do (This would mean you won't be gaining as much as before 7PM).
Useful Facts:
-If you sell stuff to reese, you get a 25% boost in items you sell, compared to nooklings. Sell your stuff to kappns daughter and its at a 5% priced.
-Whenever you get the Golden Shovel, always plant 30,000 Bells, as it has the highest chance to Bloom. To make sure it doesn't wither, put a 4-leaf clover below it.
-Talk to Sable everyday, she doesn't say much (Clearly), but if you keep it up for a week, there will be an extra sewing machine for you to scan QR codes into clothing.
-Apples, cherries, oranges, peaches and pears, bananas, mangos, durians, lemons, lychees, persimmons, and coconuts are found.
-When you obtain The Roost (the Cafe at the museum), work there. If you get 4 orders right, you'll get a very good coffee bean. Now you can sell this for 2,000 bells at re-tail in the flea market, but you can go higher, some people have even gotten to sell it for 80,000 bells.
-Always have your town Ordiance as Night Owl, most people end up playing late night anyway, and you will find it useful as well. Rich Village is a option if you enjoy selling stuff for grinding up money.
-Always remember to hit rocks to get ores and get 18,100 Bells everyday!
