Donkey Kong:
This was the First Ever Game To Feature Mario,Er Jumpman.
Story:Monkey has girl. Guy Love with Girl. Save Girl.

Backstory:This Game Alone Saved Nintendo, and A Talk With the land lord, Mario Segale [correction] Gave Them The Time to make This Game.

Super Mario Bros [1985] NES

This was the First game to introduce the Mushroom Kingdom! You Play as Mario, Jumping Your way through 8 worlds to save Peach who was Kidnapped By Bowser.

In the instruction manual for the original Super Mario Bros, the story says that an evil koopa (aka. Bowser) attacked the Mushroom Kingdom and cursed it. It caused the residents of the kingdom (Toads) to turn into bricks. The only one who can break the curse was Princess Toadstool (Peach). But she gets kidnapped (which is the main reason why Peach is always getting kidnapped). Mario and Luigi are the only hope for the kingdom.

Just by thinking about it, many toads turned into bricks. Mario couldn't massacre bunch of innocents toads, right?
