Hey guys. I'm here with a few questions about the newest monster hunter title about to release exclusively to 3DS in Japan(Sept. 14 to be exact); Monster Hunter 4.
Monster Hunter 4; How large of an Evolution to the series?
This question is definitely for those who know a little bit more about the game. With all of the new monsters(that we know of at this point), the return of Kushala Doara and Tigrex, the new Insect Staff and Charge Axe, and etc. etc., how exactly do you think this will effect the series?
The New Weapons
The new weapons introduced to Monster Hunter, also shown in the trailer, The Insect Staff and The Charge Axe, seem to be very interesting and carry much appeal to most fellow hunters. The Insect Staff allows you to drain certain stats from monsters, and is also the only weapon which lets Hunters jump at will. Perhaps a strategy could be for an insect Staff user to repeatedly drain stamina from the monster to tire the monster in order to get more attacks in. The Charge Axe, similar to the Switch axe, is a sword-morphing axe, able to release explosions. Do you guys believe these weapons contain versatility? In other words, have many uses?
Is there a Plot?
Since the first Monster Hunter, the series has never been known for a decent plot. But in MH4, there is some Dragon-Virus that infects a monster at Death, bringing them back and making them stronger. My guess is that there will be a plot, and it will make the game MUCH MORE interesting(Impossible!!).
