Face facts New Super Mario Bros was a great a game to play and it still is ,then New Super Mario Bros Wii , fantastic the 7 Koopalings finally return.


New Super Mario Bros 2 .

Honestly this game doesn't even deserve the title of NSMB2 . There is nothing New about the game , other then level design. Super Leaf (Raccoon) and Gold Mario is too overpowered . The graphics are the same as wii version which bugs me , and face it what the heck is the purpose of the coins ?!You collect 9999999 coins and your done .I wait 6 years for this


New Super Mario Bros U


Once again same graphics as wii only in HD now . Who are the Bosses ? The Koopalings for the third time . The first New Super Mario Bros had totally different bosses. Sure Boom-Boom finally returns (other than the fact he was in Super Mario 3D Land )

Face it Mario games now-a-days are just rehashes , I even find New Super Luigi Bros U stupid.


The retro Mario games are better , Super Mario Bros had a calm fun easy gameplay , and it still does . Super Mario Bros 2 was quite similar to the first one but of course different set of tiles and New types of foes and items which is great of course,Super Mario Bros . Special , this was not released in the NES but Nintendo still had signature themselves on it , pretty colors, taking items from Previous Mario Games like Donkey kong's Hammer and Super Mario USA use Veggies to kill. no one would have thought of that in the Mario Series . You collect coins for betting extra lives , you collect 2 mushrooms per level to take extra hits, if My favorite feature has to be the bosses , no Bowser. Mouser, Wart etc ;
Super Mario Bros 3 the Best Mario Game ever! Multiple Item use like Frog suit , Tanooki Suit Mario , Raccoon, and my favorite hammer brother suit. Who'd ever anticipate Mario having a same features as some enemy . The Hammer can kill alot even bosses . Boom-Boom was easy but Smart , Boom-Boom repetitive now.

Super Mario World . Better graphics (duh) being able to kick a koopashell upwards is awesome , spin attack is way better then the ground pound we have now . The reveal of Cape item had brought new types of enemies my personal favorite is the Masked Koopas


So the retro Mario games are so much better than what we have now. If only they had or start to create a Super Mario Bros 4.

I do say the older games are better, but...
NSMBU is actually pretty fun from what I've played (at a friend's house)
Does it really matter about the graphics anyway?

I'm actually just seriously pointing that the way Mario Games are advertised and that seemed more repetitive , i somewhat like NSMBU, but not as good as Super Mario Bros 3

Back then Mario side scrolling games was only "one character at a time" then the second player comes in to finish if the first player dies, in this new day in age we now have more ways to play a game. We now have online, local multiplayer(split-screen/share-screen).

In the NSMB games we have a chance to have other players join you on your adventure, in return Nintendo has to level out the difficulty to a level where veteran and new comers are having a equal amount of hard; but yet easy time with the levels. In the sense of the term NEW, what Nintendo is referring to is this is a NEW experience from the old SMB games.

They might be repetitive in some ways BUT no Mario game(s) is the same; they all have their own uniqueness to them.

If you're up to a Mario challenge, if you have NSMB2, then get the Impossible DLC pack. It's the most difficult Mario challenge in history.

I have to agree. The older 2D Mario games saw greater improvements between games than the Newer ones, which were basically the same thing, but with some extra stuff tacked on.
