On August 7, 2013, Nintendo sued hackyourconsole.com for pirateing their games on the DS and DSi with the R4 and R4i cartridges. Nintendo won the battle and the R4/i are officially banned. Hack Your Console were developing ''3DS Gateway'' which it's like a R4, but it's with pirating 3DS games. Millions of pre-orders were cancelled, new orders will no longer be accepted, hackyourconsole.com goes offline not allowing any downloads anymore.

This also bans any hacking services on the Wii as well.

Nintendo has done an amazing job stop piracing their hard worked games. What do you think?

There's nothing illegal about the action replay. And the R4 is still in mass circulation.

Actually, Action Replay can use DS roms just as well as R4.

Action Replay just messes up with the game's code.

But since an Action Replay glitched up my DSi, I've never used an Action Replay again.

I used an AR with SA2B (GameCube), I got Omochao as a Chao, as well as some animals as Chao like in some Chao races. I also managed to get multiplayer content in the Chao Garden and play as any character possible in story/bosses.
