Combining CSS codes!

I've noticed that some (or most) people cody and paste the codes from Ultimate profile styling guide by Gray and never noticed this:

"Well that is it for now. here is SO much ore you an do, but you have to put these codes together making like... hundreds of possibilities... ._. ( Not doing that ) So try experimenting with some of these. "

Some people dont know how to "experiment" with CSS codes, so this is why I made a thread.

Let me give you an example.

Say if you wanted different colored words in the comment box like me and Gray have. You'll combine two codes. These codes are [style].commentbox_1{background-image:url(URL) ;}[/style] and [style].content{color:color here;}[/style]. You would remove "background-image:url(URL)" in the first code and place "color:color here" in the second code inside the {'s in the first code.

I'll let you figure out the rest. (Note: not ALL codes work with combining)
