Interesting...But I don't think users should be limited. Not only would that system limit fighting capabilities, but also character abilities in general. You may have created your character to weild a claymore made from a specific, fantasy material, that's as strong as titanium but as light as a feather. I don't see anything wrong with that, as long as you don't use it to overpower people. Of course, G-modding is never fun, which is why I'm often selective with who I RP with.

Not to mention, keeping track of stats would get complicated, and people could lie and put whatever they want (unless it's an automatic thing).

Let's not forget that there are other RP genres which don't involve action/fighting.

On the other hand, I think your system is awesome as a type of RP. I think your system should be known as more of an RPG, since it seems more like a game. People could make specific characters just for this type of RP Unless, that's what you meant. If so: awesome :3
