So I got this game and have about 10+ hours and it's...interesting to say the least.

I'm going to start by talking about the actually gameplay. It's a beat em up, you basically run along levels just killing enemies. You basically want to chain together as many combos as possible, the higher you chain the more exp your character gets, and they will level up. There are 12 playable characters, however two are hidden and I have not yet unlocked them. Combat is fluid and fun, though enemy animations stutter a lot, thankfully the girls animate well most of the time.

Now this game is very perverted, but I have to give it props because it actually manages to incorporate "that" into the gameplay. At the start of a level you have the option to shed your clothes and run around in a bikini. The result of this is that you are faster and do more damage but your defense takes a hit. If you beat a level in this state, you get a special mark by the level on the select screen. If you remain clothed, you start in a school uniform. Build up energy and you can switch the more powerful Shinobi uniform.

Now what's interesting is that the Shinobi outfits have health. As you take damage, the girl's outfits will take damage, and there will be cinematics showing the clothing falling off. This lowers defense.

I'd say the gameplay beats the story. There are two games in here, one focus on the "good" ninja school, the other the "evil" school. I like the good ninjas more, but the story was meh with lots of cliche' crap about friendship, basically it tried to be emotional and just failed.

I've started the evil story and it's far more interesting.

Bear in mind in Japan these were released as separate games but here we get them in one package for $30. It's pretty good value.

How do I put this? This game makes Dead or Alive look conservative. As stated before, the clothes rip off and everything. While this happens the camera zooms in on the butt and boobs. Same for when you change to your Shinobi outfit.
The boobs jiggle and all times and with every movement. A LOT more than Dead or Alive: Dimensions.

Also, on the character viewer they shake everytime you move the circle pad. What's even more messed up, is if you blow into the mic in the character viewer, their skirts fly up. (This is an unlockable feature)

Oh, and with the 3D on those things literally come out of the screen. (3D is disabled during combat but not cinematics)

The dialogue is also messed up, but I won't get into that.





Overall I'd say it's pretty good but if you don't like boobs and can't stand anything that has an anime style it's not for you.

I forgot to mention: When using the character viewer, the girls know you're looking at them.

They'll say things like "Stop!" or "Too close!" which makes you feel even more messed up.

@Zaid-Sadly no. For whatever reason you have to hold X when using the character viewer. If anyone knows a good way to keep that button down, let me know.

Side note: This game is in the "best sellers" section of the eShop, despite having zero promotion. People must like boobs!

I really hope Shinovi Versus (PS Vita) gets localized, as it's even more sexy.

It sucks that the main fighting sequence isn't in 3D. There's such cool flashes going on and you can move foreground to background so why not make it 3D. The fighting is still fun and Theres 5+ playable characters all with different fighting styles so that kinda makes up for it. When you do your special move during combat it goes to 3D then back to 2D. This feels like a 2D game they ported to the 3DS adding 3D cut scenes. Makes my annoyed.

Still an over all fun game.

Pros:
3D menu gym area and cut scenes
Fun story line

Cons: fighting is in 2D
