Nintendo World Report, Destructiod, and Eurogamer have all given Super Mario 3D World a perfect score, 10/10. It seems as the game hasn't gotten below an 9 anywhere I saw. Could this save the Wii U? What do you guys think?

It's good news no doubt but i fear it wont be enough to really push sales consistently. it will bring a sales spike but it wont save it. I don't think the console will be saved till Mario Kart comes out and SSB4 is announced to NOT come to 3DS.

Sure options are nice but this game could have really helped the system.

But I doubt the 3DS version of Super Smash Bros sales will be the same as the Wii U version. Of course the Wii U version will be supperior than the 3DS version. Unlike PS All Star Battle Royale, both Vita and PS3 versions are the same.

@Mega I always preferred D-pad and normal attack at the same time. Also, they managed a wii remote, how hard can 3ds controls be?

I really want both versions, but I only have the 3DS, I'll pre-order the 3DS version, when I get the Wii U, it's gonna be my first Wii U game to own.

When this game was first revealed, it looked pretty stupid.

I'll admit, it looks awesome now.
I do see it boosting sales a bit, but keep in mind the N64 and Gamecube had Super Mario games and neither systems did very well.

This game is going to have a very high attach-rate, but yeah, I don't think there will be consistently high hardware sales for a very long time.

When this game was revealed, you were calling it a Super Mario 3D Land rehash. You didn't gave it chance because it was STILL under development. Now that Nintendo revealed more info, content, and gameplay video, now you think it looks amazing.

That's something you need to stop doing, you always judge and conclude on games that was just revealed.

And you're also basically saying I should ignore gameplay footage and praise it based on nothing. The demos for the game at E3 2013 were LAME. Everything else shown was LAME. Therefore, I came to the conclusion that the game wasn't very good. I can't talk about how amazing something looks when there's nothing amazing to see.

If Nintendo had awesome footage for the reveal like they do now, I wouldn't have called it a rehash.

Still, the game was still under development, the features were not ready to be shown.

You need to play the game first, then judge it. You always judge games by their cover.
