The only problem with the Wii U at its launch was that if you disconnected from the Internet while updating your console would become bricked. But that's kinda excusable, since that happens with other consoles too and it kinda rests on the consumer's fault.

These problems are being blown way out of proportion (Mostly by people who don't even own the systems) and are in no way any where near as bad as the 1 in 5 RROD failure rate the 360 used to have.

I guess this is really the only advantage the Wii U has over these systems, and it's a pretty small one at that.

And Ron is right, day one console buyers should know that they aee getting an unfinished, unreliable product, as literally ever console launch in the history of gaming has been half-assed, aside from the over-the-top, in your face, nonstop marketing.

People will buy anything if it gets marketed enough, and I have seen enough PS4/Xbox One ads to make myself go crazy.

I will be getting a PS4 when it has some games that aren't also on PS3.
