Some boring old day I thought it was. The phone rang. “Epic, awnser the phone!” my mother shouted. The number read: 555-6768.EXE. Crap. I picked up the phone. “Hello?” A eerie voice came from the phone, and I think this was what it said:
“Go on a computer, type in www.exe.com/gmod/, and download the file, or you will meet with a terrible fate...” Then he hung up before I could say anything. I got out my old laptop and entered in the web adress he gave me. The page had a download link. It said 'Download Gmod.exe 1MB'. I clicked the link. My screen went black. “Dang it!” I yelled. Then I restarted the computer. A new file was on it: Gmod.exe. The icon showed a gravity gun with blood on it, or so I recall. I clicked it twice. A window came up. It read 'Open Steam and add this by using Non-Steam Game.' I opened Steam and added it. Then I opened it via Steam. It looked just like the Garry's Mod menu. I proceed to go on the feild, like I always do when playing Garry's Mod. I decide to spawn somthing. But everything turns red when I try to. When it starts going again, it starts lagging like [CENSORED] and eventually crashes. I open it again. This time, when I choose the feild, it went to blood splats. All I could make out was writing in a reddish color. It said: 'Your time is up.' My computer shut down peramentaly and I quickly took out a hammer and smashed it. I thought it was over. But my SD Card I had in it survived. It had Steam and the haunted game: Gmod.exe. I took out a case, put the SD Card in the case, and locked it. The case remains in another case, in another case, and still another case. Now I play Garry's Mod on my Windows 8, wondering what had happened that dark, fateful night.

If you want, you can make a remake of the haunted Garry's Mod file. Then tell me the link, and I will post it here.
Remember, it's only a creepypasta, it can hurt you. Or can it...
