"Curiosity Killed the Cat"

The rain poured heavily on the earth, The gray clouds blocking the sky hung highly above the dimly lit city. The streets were covered with pools of water that reflected colors of the rainbow due to light refraction. A cat layed under a park bench. His gray coat soaked with water and dirtied with mud, Clung to his skin. The cat sat up then twitched his ears, Water droplets fell from his whiskers. A long dark shadow drooped down from the other side of the park, towering over the cat. The cat cautiously moved toward the figure, Curiously inching towards it.
The figure swung around and growled deeply before attacking the cat. Fiercely swinging the cat in various directions viciously, its long sharp fang-like teeth pierced its neck and cut off its source of oxygen by puncturing the trachea. The figure threw the cat acrossed the park. Smash! The cat hit a large cement building and shattered part of its Rib cage. The cat desperately cried, barely clinging to life as its world swirled and spinned before becoming completely dark, beyond the point of site.

Just a small story, not much effort, sorry.

I paced around for hours on empty,
Jumped at the slightest of sounds.
I couldn't stand the person inside me,
I turned all the mirrors around.
