Here's a theory: In the beta version of NSMB2, there would be a mysterious power-up called the Magnet Flower. If you collect it, coins would come to you. The legend says that there was a boy named dan playing the beta version when he found the Magnet Flower. He collected all the coins! He was having fun until he made a Gold Brick appear. The brick couldn't move, so, Dan advanced to the end of the level and the brick smashed Mario, who fell into a bottomless pit leading to a humongous spike. Mario got impaled and Dan received a message that said:
"YoU aRe No HeRo YoU hAvE lOsT tHe GaMe"
Dan realized that he couldn't play any more beta releases of any game.
