My 3DS isn't turning on

So, I'm on my new tablet, because my 3DS isn't working. I already checked to see if the battery is loose, and took it out, in case the system needed to release any excess electricity. I literally am freaking out, about send this to Nintendo for repairing. Any suggestions, before I do that? Any help is very well appreciated.

I've got nothing good to put here.

When was the last time you played your 3DS? If it's awhile, then it's dead dead. Like dead. You need it to charge for a day.

Try taking the battery out and putting it on the charger too.

If the above method does not work, then get a new battery.

I noticed that 3DS uses the exact same battery as the DSi.

So if you have a DSi, swap batteries and maybe it'll work.

Remember, a DSi, not a DSi XL because the XL has a longer battery pak than the DSi.

Actually Nin10dude, the Dsi battery is too long for the 3DS, in terms of size.

I don't think anything. I tried it when it started frequently shutting off after 3-5 seconds

Off-Topic: My friend's cousin Luigi is the ultimate technical whiz. He's fixed 1000+ PS3s & 360s, and nearly 20 PS4s. His phone is a homemade Apple/Android hybrid.If I had this problem, I would give it to him and have it back within a few days. He'd probably throw in some wild extra stuff, like backlit buttons or something... lel, my warranty is already dead...
