A Classic.
xXAliveXx (2014-02-16 20:38:27)The man woke up, laying face-up in a hospital bed.
"Oh, thank god, we thought we'd lost you!" The doctor said. "You were completely brain dead for five minutes. We were ready to pull the plug, if you know what I mean," and with that, the doctor gestured to the life-supporting machines that lay beebing and hissing behind the man.
The man thanked the docter, and tried to recall what had happened the night before. His car broke down, and he had decided to hitchhike....but then...everything went kind of fuzzy.
The man decided it wasn't importnt right now, and put it in the back of his mind. He stayed at the hospital that night, as well, and when every patient was asleep, and the hospital was filled with sounds of beebing heart moniters, the man twitched. At least, it started out as a twitch. Soon, his body began to writhe, and his heartbeat increased rapidly.
A nurse ran into the room, and found that his heartbeat was five times the normal speed...and he shouldn't be alive.
At this point, the mans body was wracked with convulsions of utter horror proportions, blood dribbled out of his mouth, and he turned to the nurse. She gasped as his eyes opened...to nothing. There were no eyes.
"Nurse, NURSE, I cant SEE!"
And the nurse was never seen again.
The next morning, when the doctor came in, the others told him of the man's strange behavior. They told him that after Nurse Sherri went in, he calmed back down...but Sherri never came back.
The doctor nodded, and entered the room.
Half of the mans face was gone, leaving nothing but rotting flesh and bone, the stark white sticking out at odd angles. His eye was gone on his rotted half.
The doctor asked him how he felt, and the man said, "Well...I fel fine, of course." The half of his face that was decimated also spoke, but it added a ghastly effect. "Why? Can I not go home tonight?"
The doctor sighed. He handed the man a pocket mirror.
The man looked at it, but didnt react. "Yeah? What about me? I look fine..."
The doctor leaned over and looked at the mirror...and in it, the mans face was full and intact. His eye was there.
Feling queasy, the doctor backed up. "Of....of course, yes, well, we want to keep you one more night, we, found somethig that needs looking over, to say the least...I'll...be back."
The doctor met with the nurses, and told them everything. "No, there's no way! You're makin it up to scare us!" They all agreed. "Well, fine, Im staying here tonight, though, just in case, and we'll see if Sherri comes back, too."
And so, that night, he doctor and the nurses stayed, and when the mans heartbeat began to race, one nurse grabbed a camera, and in they went.
11:45 p.m.
camera starts rolling, doctors voice; "Okay, so Sherri didn't come in tonight, it doesnt mean something terrible happened to her. Look, after this, we'll call her home, and if she doesn't answer, we'll call the police. Lets do this."
11:57 p.m.
camera and party enter room, camera goes to static.
The next morning, all that was found of the people who entered that room was a foul stench that no one could identify.
Some say it resembled rotted fish. Others say it was dead bodies. But whatever it was, it never left that room, and so, they never used it.
Twenty years later, and the city is ready to rebuild the hospital. First, the old one must go, and so, they came in like a wrecking ball and tore it down.
No body noticed the six skeletons that crawled from the rubble, skittering away to find new companions.
"I love your eyes...but only with ketchup."
xXAliveXx (2014-02-18 17:41:34)Yes, the monkey's story ended there.
But the story of the man who found it dead would last forever.
Dr.Fredricks was never actually considered a Doctor to those he knew closely, he was a scientist, he didn't diagnose strange knee pain or give a lollipop to a kid with a runny nose.
No, instead he trekked through the rain forests on the other side of the world from which he grew up. He loved it there, the smells, the discoveries, the excitement that came with knowing that each step could be your last.
At least, he used to love these trips.
Now, he lay in his home, perhaps dead but perhaps only asleep, all because he made one fatal step...and he found the monkey.
It was Monday, and Fredricks left his home near the forest in great anticipation. something big was going to happen today, he knew it.
All decked out in the latest of Rainforest survival gear, Fred made his way into the thick underbrush.
He shortly came across a path, one he had taken for years right, that would lead him up a familiar slope to a familiar grose of trees where he would re-familiarize himself with the things he discovered last week at the same spot.
But this time, something called to him...pulled him to the left side...and so he went, his stomach veering away from the idea of something new, but his mind filled with curiosity.
curiosity killed the cat... he thought, good thing I'm not a cat, then. and he strode forward.
After about an hour of new things, strange fruit hanging from the branches and calls of animals he'd never heard, Fredricks came across the monkey. Its eyes bulged, and its mouth was open in a distorted, forever scream of terror.
Fred frowned, wondering what could have killed it...or why it was the only familiar thing on the left path he'd seen yet.
A noise came, sounding like someone punching a wet steak, and Dr.Fredricks looked down...down at his chest where an arrow stuck. Seeing the arrow somehow snapped him out of his trance, and he looked around, realizing he had no clue where he was.
He stumbled away as another arrow embedded itself into the large trunk beside him.
Crashing through the foliage, Fred made his way as quick as he could, but the arrow had been dipped in something...some kind of paralysis poison, and he was getting slower.
Just as he reached the for in the road, another arrow caught him in the calf.
He screamed, but kept running. He made it home, and had only enough time to phone for the police before he blacked out.
Dr. Fredricks is known today for his amazing discovery of a paralysis syrum that can both wound and imobilize a victim without any undesired side effects.
Dr. Fredricks, however, got the brunt end, as he will be forever paralyzed, his mouth twisted open in a ghastly scream that only he will know as a warning... The Forest is Alive...

xXAliveXx (2014-02-20 17:42:00)The pie sat there on the table, as you were dead on the floor. It just...was there. When you came home that night, you had no idea...how could you have known?
Three Hours earlier, you were in the facility at which you work, helping in the expirement. A small rat was inside the Gassing chamber, and he was infected with a deadly, infectious disease. Trying out the new gas that could someday be contained in pills for the sick was sprayed on the rat, and instantly, it screeched. For three minutes, the rat was forced to breathe the toxic substance until his breathing calmed. The room was emptied of the gas with a flush of oxygen.
Then, your co-workers introduced a new rat to the old one, and at first all was fine. None of the rats were infected by the disease that the first one had contracted.
But then something happened.
The first rat reared up on its hind legs and leaped, sleek as only a rat can be, and nipped the second on the neck. The second rat fell, dead.
As your co-workers are all scrambling, trying to find a way to calm the thing down, you are called to the Office.
You were nervous, because of course, the Office meant two things...a promotion, or a firing. And you knew you weren't due for any extra money any time soon.
you enter through a large, oak doorway. You call out softly, and are startled by the blinding lights that flicker on at your voice.
Sitting in front of you....your boss.
He smiles, and tells you not to worry, everything was going fine and you weren't getting fired.
Then, he asks you if your happy testing on animals...maybe you would like a promotion?
Relieved, your legs quivering from anxiety, you accept, and as soon as you do, the floor opens up beneath you.
you slide down an uncomfortable chute to a room where there are no doors...and the chute above you seals off.
A hidden window opens, and you are forced to crawl on hands an knees to get through, to where you see people. Dozens of them, chained to the wall, some alive, some dead.
the few who could talk moaned, "Help us..."
You stagger back, appalled, of course, but a door opens in the distance and you are beckoned through.
Your hands are grabbed and forced behind your back when you enter, and you are dragged to a table, where they strap you down and then finnaly let go.
Your hands and legs are tied.
you are defensless.
A co-worker from upstairs comes down, and in her hand, she has a syringe.
"Don't panic," she says, too late, because your instinct has kicked in and your thrashing, staying away from the needle, "When you wake up, it'll all be over..."
And when you woke up, indeed, it was over.
You felt no pain. You felt no fear.
You felt nothing.
They sent you home, half of your body now made of metal, and you sat down.
Act natural, don't do anything that could get you hurt. they said.
so, you picked up the phone from where you were, and dialed the police. You told them everything, and were done.
You stood, decided you would have one last luxury before you died, and warmed up a piece of pie.
You put a bite into your mouth, but it tasted like nothing.
They had burned away your tastebuds.
You swallow, and you feel your body reject it, as it was not used to the new metallic stomach chambers.
You chew another bite, knowing that by now the people in the lab knew you had betrayed them.
You swallow, then push the pie away.
You look up at the dingy ceiling and know that the people you work for must be stopped.
You know that half of the people in the city already were brainless metal compartments ready to be commanded and used.
And you know that you cant let the Boss take over the world.
So you lay your head back, and the people at the factory throw the switch, ending your life, and completing your sacrifice.

Quote (2014-02-20 21:01:25)I am a fan of Sonic. One day I got a red Sonic 1 cartridge for free. Why the cartridge was red, or why I got it for free, I didn't know. I then played it, title seemed normal, but when it dissapeared, SONIC HAD HYPERREALISTIC BLOOD. Everything was normal from there, until I got to Robotnik. Robotnik was invincable, and when I hit the spike ball, blood splatered everywhere. I then threw away the cartridge. I will never play a Sonic game ever again.

xXAliveXx (2014-02-22 00:21:06)(Am I supposed to extend this, or...?)
"I love your eyes...but only with ketchup."
xXAliveXx (2014-03-02 00:04:03)Waking was a shock...the dream touched you in ways you couldn't comprehend...
You stand, and walk to your kitchen, but everything seems...off...you try to shrug it off, but no, it keeps on nagging you; in the back of your head, something was screaming, but you couldnt hear it because it was muffled. As if someone was smothering it with a pilow.
You reach to open the refrigerator, a familiar gesture, and you were suprised to find yourself grabbing the microwave handle.
Whats happening? Why is everything so strange? Again, you locate the fridge and this time your able to get the door open. Inside, about one millimeter of milk in its container and a lone, single apple.
Strange, when was the last time I drank milk or bought an apple? You shrug it off again, then grab the apple.
You pul back your hand...and the apple was a heart!
Panicking, you drop the heart and it lands on the aluminum with a soft plop!
You look away, horrified, but end up looking, thinking it was ridiculous you thought you actualy saw a heart.
There was nothing on the floor.
Your sick of the wierdness, and you run to the door, which has ended up in the bathroom, and you thow it open.
Outside, everything was normal, but things were twisted and warped, just like your house.
I heard about this...alternate worlds inside my head...but am I inside my head? you think.
As soon as you step on the grass, you forhet why you're out there. You suddenly remeber you're hungry. You enter the house again and tell yourself that you'll sit down and think about it after some breakfast.
You ooen the fridge, and inside its covered in blood.
Slaming the fridge shut causes some of the blood to seep to the floor and on your foot.
Wait...
You open the fridge again.
In your haste, you hadn't noticed that the "blood" was just some extremely sticky jelly.
Again, you step outside, and again you ponder where you are.
Suddenly, it comes to you, a coma!
People told stories of the brain going into fake life stimulation until the body found out where they were...thier own heads.
The ground begins to shake beneath you, and you turn toward your house, but fil wih dread when you realize that its not there.
Dont panic, I'm in my own head, if I screw up, I'm dead,
Things began to appear.
Horrible things.
Your family, decapitated, all standing hand in hand over your hospital bed.
Your girlfriend, ripping flesh from your body in great strips and swallowing it.
You, never escapig from your coma.
"No!"
You punch the air in front of you, and are surprised to find your hand connect with something solid.
You pull your hand back, the pain just a ghostly whisper, and the ground dissapears around you.
You fall, and you fall, and you fall. You estimate it was five minutes before you hit...the hospital bed.
The doctors rush in, syringes in hand and masks on face.
"Dont worry sir, it wont hurt. Your blood is just rushing too quickly. " they said. "This should take care of that!" They brought the syringe over slowly, and brought t so close to your face that you could see the blood that had dried on the tip. Just rust... you tell yourself, but you know deep inside you its not.
The little voice had become huge and uncovered, screaming for you to do something, so you do, as the syringe came down, you dodged out of the way of the swinging nurse, and when you blinked, you were out of that hospital ward and in another room.
Chains and hooks hung from the walls and ceiling. It was dark.
You make your way through the clinking metal and when you blink again, youre awake...
A nurse writes on the clipboard shes holding.
You scream at her, and you're suprised that your voice is hoarse, considering that you were just screaming and talking and trying to escape.
The nurse is suprised, and she drops her things, runnin out of he room.
You look around.
Your alone other than the machines and tubes thay stuck into you.
But is this real...?
The doctor comes in, says a few words, and you realize youve been in the coma for over a week.
"But its only been a few hours where I was," you say.
"Really? Everyone who lives through a coma says that...what was it like?" The doctor asks.
"Oh, it was just like our world but..." you trail off, suddenly not sure what had happened....what did you do in that world? Everytime you try to grasp it, it slips away more, until theres none left.
The doctor nods. "Yeah, I thougt so. Everyone who survives a coma starts and end the same way." He goes through a few more numbers, then you're sent home.
You mail the sonic game right away, wih no return address.

Several years ago, a man was walking down a road because his car broke down. He then saw a car in the distance so he put his thumb up to hitchhike. The car then pulled up beside him. When he opened the passenger door, A SKELETON POPPED OUT.
