MegaBeanish (2014-03-28 04:16:21)I deleted the "If the forums are in a state of flooding, please help clean up by bumping threads that are not over one month old." part. That actually doesn't help. That just makes the forum mods have to click an extra page to delete the spam.
If that happens, just contact a forum mod and they will use the deleter then delete the threads.

Some of the newer users of this website just don't understand what this section of the forums is about. Therefore, I have created this to counter the problem. --IT ONLY HELPS IF YOU READ THIS FIRST--
* - this means the entire site in general
* - means the entire forum. If the rule applies to a different section, it's not there.
-No useless threads *
This forum is constantly spammed with these "Hi" and "Hello" threads. This is a forum meant for discussing about 3DSPlaza, not for conversation. If you wish to have a conversation, go to the chats or use the PM system. This applies to threads that has nothing to do with 3DSPlaza, as well.
-No advertising
It doesn't matter if it is your website or not, NO ADVERTISING. To advertise YOUR OWN website, go to the appropriate section.
-No threads about quitting *
"I'm quitting!" Boo-hoo. Don't just sit there and announce it, just go. Everyone will know you're gone in 6 months.
-No asking for help
There is a subforum below this forum titled "Help".
-No reporting other users *
This is not the place for it. Please consult a moderator.
-No "PM me" or "Add me" threads *
Don't create these kinds of threads. PM/add someone else first or let them PM/add you.
-No online dating *
This is a site-wide rule, so no "hi ladies pm me" threads here, or even a trace of it anywhere else. This is another big problem.
-No asking for moderatorship *
Don't ask to become a moderator. This is another site-wide rule that annoys the community moderators.
-No begging for 3DSPoints *
Why beg for these, anyways? It's just a line of code. Air. It has no value.
-No inappropriate content *
This includes inappropriate video, images, links, etc. which lead to the topic post to being deleted.
-Breaking rules *
Don't post anything that teaches or encourages the users here to perform an action that fails to comply with the site rules.
-Starting drama *
Don't cause any type of drama or discuss negatively of another user.
Ex. -Why was this user banned? I won't stop until I know!
-I don't like this user, because he/she did blah blah.
-Do not post hurtful comments/cyberbullying *
No matter what they might have done to you, don't say anything to hurt someone's feelings.
-No cybering *
Do not engage in cybersex with any other user, especially over the forums.
-No threads for attention *
This goes along with "No useless threads".
-No spamming *
Do not post many threads in quick succesion. Also, any spambots will be permanantly banned post-attack.
-No flamewars *
Do not create, interfere with, nor fuel a flamewar within a forum thread nor anywhere else.
-No "suck-up" threads *
Do not create a thread that reveals an attempt to suck-up to a user/moderator for a personal gain.
-Doing other profiles/entering another user's account *
Due to security reasons, entering another user's account for any reason is not allowed. There are no exceptions to these rules. This also goes for doing someone elses account. There is an exception to that.
-Faking moderatorship
If you are not a real moderator, do not tell other users that you are. Do not enter another user's account to perform actions that alter that user's profile information unless you are a profile moderator. TIP: Profile moderators DO NOT ask for an account password*
