So many threads like these.. I swear people be running out of ideas.

On topic: I joined this website in late 2012. My friends on H4D told me about here, and then I eventually ditched them (but about 25% of my H4D friends come here). I joined 'cause it seemed like it was pretty good.

Yep. I agree with Jason2K14. It might not look like a thread like this has never been made, but if you go back pages, you'll find threads dealing with the same topic.

First time I joined was in 2011 on a different account which got banned for an unknown reason

Chronology: Found about H4D on Hatena --> Joined H4D in Late January 2011 (When 3DSPlaza was first released) --> Got a 3DS Christmas 2011 --> Ditched H4D --> Joined 3DSPlaza in Late December 2011 --> Returned to H4D and became a moderator in Early April 2012 (a couple days after my 12th birthday) --> Stayed a moderator for over a year and a couple months --> Demoted on July 13, 2013 (for explicit behavior) --> Present-Day.

I joined DSiPlaza in 2011. I only found out about this Plaza because of the suspiciously similar name. It took me several months to sign up, though. Had to be sure this place had what I was looking for: a place where I can socialize without the necessity of having friends, aka active forums.
