Crush42 (2014-05-21 13:21:36)Meh. Honestly, Call Of Duty is a mixed bag. Some games are good, others aren't. The Legend Of Zelda and the Mario Bros. has also had their fair shares of flops, and I don't hear people beating them down nearly as much as COD. Black Ops was fun. Black Ops 2 is fun. I haven't played Ghosts, but it looked okay.
I have three reasons I'm picking up AW (not day one, but after DOA6 is released for XBONE), and:
1. What I've seen from it looks really cool. The graphics are phenomenal, the gameplay looks fine-tuned with many distinct additions to the series, and the trailer made it look great.
2. I have Black Ops 2 on my 360. It's awesome. It's recent. It shows that not all hope is lost for the series, so AW should be given a fair chance before being judged.
3. Fluxercry seems to despise it, so it must be good!

Depending on what LOZ game you're talking about, yes, because as I said, that series has its share of flops (Spirit Tracks is seriously one of the RPG genres biggest disgraces).
I can go on, but as for the other things you've said...
I'm not a COD fanboy. I've played three games, two of which were fun.
Also, yes, colours, textures, framerate and character models all contribute to graphics. That being said, the colour scheme of the series I've seen so far is super-realistic, the character models are amazingly high-quality, the framerate and animations run smooth as silk, and the textures are far better than most games on the market today. You sound like you're saying a game has to be LSD trip-inducing colourful in order to look good (bet you enjoyed the Speed Racer movie, huh?), and that Resident Evil: Revelations was a really horrible-looking 3DS game, just because it looked dark and realistic.

As you should know call of duty advenced warfare was announced. Whats new though?
Well at first Sledgehammer games are making it also being the first call of duty to be using the three - year cycle.
Also this game runs on the different engine because call of duty classic to ghosts (every one) was running on the same engine so we might get something different!
And finally the exo skeleton suit enabling you to hover, cloak yourself, run up walls, jump further/higher and lots more. It is also believed that you can upgrade your suit going through missions ( probably on multiplayer too! ) ... so this could mean attempting missions in different ways.
What do you think? When I buy this if I don't like it im giving up on C.O.D.
