A broken tool still has it's uses...

Today was it, he'd finally receive his lock picking set. Felix couldn't wait, he was practically ready to run to the truck when it finally came into view. After a life traumatic experience with nearly getting run over, Felix took his item and ran inside. Without reading the instructions, he dived right into a lock and broke one of the tools.
"AGH, worthless crap!" Felix tossed the ruined set onto the table, looking at the broken item. Then, he saw something within the demolished tool. Picking up pieces and getting glue, he created a little figure to look at. Then he set it up by his window...
People walked by and saw Felix's model and marvelled at how creative it was. Knocks bothered the young man all day, all about his figure. Then, a man from the art museum came a knockin' and asked if he could take Felix's piece and put it in his museum. Felix gladly accepted this grand offer, and followed the man, who was called Mick Carmichael, and had his figure placed next to the art of millions of famous painters. With this, Felix sought out items, broken items to be exact, to create figures like his last one. Broken tools really did have uses afterwards, and this was Felix's use. END
