The night was cold, dark and quiet. Tree branches dancing slowly in the soft breeze that carried leaves throughout the woods, landing in yards and on rooftops. What a peaceful scene it was. Like art captured on an artists easel.

A young girl lies in her bed, auburn red hair in knots and twirls. Her face perfectly dotted with lightly colored freckles that stood out on her pale skin. She wrapped herself up in her indigo colored sheets, trying to fall asleep but with no avail. Her emerald green eyes shined in the moonlight peering in through the stainless glass window just feet from the tall bed. The refraction of the crisp moonlight shining through the window created a transparent rainbow stretch across the brown carpeted floor. "I hate insomnia.." The young woman mutters while she looks at her ceiling with a great long sigh. She pushed away some of the hair in her face, turning to look at the digital clock plugged in on her dresser built-in to the bed frame. "1:00.." She groaned, shoving her pillow into her face.

Time passed, and she eventually began to fall asleep. The world around her becoming dark, fading away like paper underwater. Soon everything was gone. She was now asleep.
